The Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO) has engaged GOAL-SL in a bilateral meeting aimed at supporting the implementation of the company’s Five-Year Strategic Development Plan (2026–2030).

Speaking during the engagement, the Managing Director of SALWACO, Ing. Tiideni Hawa Jabbi, introduced her team and highlighted the company’s commitment to effectively delivering on its mandate while supporting the Government of Sierra Leone’s national development agenda and the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal Six (SDG 6) by 2030.

She noted that SALWACO has developed a clear strategic direction through its Five-Year Strategic Development Plan, which aligns with sectoral priorities, the national development agenda, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Responding on behalf of GOAL-SL, the Country Representative, James Riak, expressed optimism about strengthening collaboration to improve Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services in Sierra Leone, particularly in Moyamba and Kenema districts.

The Director of Development and Planning, Ing. Yakuba J. Tarawally, together with the Planning Manager, Chrisla Alberta Koroma, presented and discussed the Strategic Development Plan with representatives from GOAL-SL.

The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts by SALWACO to build strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing access to safe water and sanitation services across the country.
