The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has recorded another major milestone as three Sierra Leonean female football officials have secured prestigious appointments in the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup African Qualifiers.

According to the SLFA, experienced Match Commissioner Emilia Kamara Jengo has been appointed by FIFA to serve as Match Commissioner for the qualifier between Liberia and Ghana, scheduled for 30th June 2026 at the SKD Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia.

The Sierra Leone FA believes that the appointment reflects the growing confidence that FIFA and CAF continue to place in Sierra Leonean football administrators.

Also, the FA announced that Fatmata Mansaray has been appointed as Assistant Referee, while Huma Marrah will serve as Fourth Official in the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Guinea, scheduled for Sunday 31st May 2026 at the Ikene-Remo Stars Stadium in Ogun State, Nigeria.

“These appointments highlight the success of the SLFA’s ongoing efforts to develop and empower women in football, while enhancing Sierra Leone’s reputation in international football officiating and administration.” the SLFA said.

The Sierra Leone FA congratulated the trio and wished them success as they proudly represent the nation on the continental stage.
