Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara has visited the Leone Stars training camp at the SLFA Football Academy as preparations begin for upcoming international friendly matches against Liberia.

Addressing the players and technical team, President Kamara welcomed those who had reported to camp, including Momoh I. Kamara, Amadou Bakayoko, Alhassan Koroma, Samuel Ghandi, Saidu Fofanah, Abu Dumbuya, Mohamed Buya Turay, and several others.

He commended their commitment to national duty and urged them to approach the assignment with seriousness and professionalism.

“Representing your country is about pride, honor, and responsibility,” President Kamara told the players. “This is an opportunity to show your dedication to Sierra Leone and to contribute to our collective ambition of returning Leone Stars to the Africa Cup of Nations after missing out in recent years.”

He further urged the squad to remain united and focused, stressing that success depends on teamwork and a shared sense of purpose. “We must stand firmly together around the green, white, and blue. There is no better time than now to unite and work toward our goals, knowing how passionate our people are when it comes to supporting Leone Stars.”

The Leone Stars are preparing for two international friendly matches against Liberia. The first encounter is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at the Southern Arena in Bo City, followed by the return fixture on Tuesday, June 9 at the SKD Stadium in Monrovia.
