SEND Sierra Leone Strengthens Accountability Through Ethics and Team Reflection
Alusine Ahmed Kargbo SEND Sierra Leone has brought together staff from its offices across the country for its Third Quarter Accountability Meeting, aimed at reviewing progress, sharing lessons, and improving the organization’s service delivery.
The meeting, which was held through both physical and virtual platforms, provided an opportunity for staff members to reflect on their work, discuss challenges, and identify ways to strengthen their programmes.
A key focus of the meeting was a session on ethics and confidentiality, where staff were reminded about the importance of integrity, professionalism, and protecting sensitive information in their daily responsibilities.
The discussion emphasized that accountability is not only about achieving results but also about how work is carried out. Staff were encouraged to make responsible decisions, respect the communities they serve, and maintain the trust of partners and stakeholders.
