Prominent All People’s Congress (APC) stalwart Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara(JFK) has commended party members across several constituencies in Makeni, Bombali District, following his direct observation of the APC lower-level elections.

JFK described the process as a testament to the party’s commitment to internal democracy, highlighting the peaceful, orderly, and enthusiastic participation of delegates, officials, and grassroots supporters.

“The strength of any political party lies in the credibility of its internal democratic processes,” Kamara stated, reflecting on his engagements with local stakeholders. “I was inspired by their unwavering dedication to ensuring that the elections were conducted with transparency, fairness, and respect for the rules of our great party.”

Kamara extended formal commendations to the Independent Electoral Management Committee (IEMC), constituency executive members, security personnel, and the general membership for maintaining discipline and order throughout the competitive process.

Addressing the inevitable friction that accompanies electoral contests, he urged all candidates and supporters to embrace unity following the announcement of results.

“While elections naturally come with competition, we must always remember that we remain one APC family, united by our common vision for a stronger party and a better Sierra Leone,” he noted. “My appeal to all contestants and supporters is to accept the outcome of the process in good faith, extend a hand of friendship to one another, and continue working together for the progress of our party.”

Kamara expressed strong confidence that the high turnout and democratic spirit witnessed in Bombali District demonstrate the party’s ongoing readiness to offer accountable and visionary leadership for Sierra Leone.
