The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has announced that its 2025-26 Premier League Awards Night will be held on Friday, Aug. 7, at the Bintumani Hotel in Freetown.

The announcement was made in a public notice released Monday by the Premier League Board, confirming plans for the annual event honoring outstanding performances and contributions during the 2025-26 Sierra Leone Premier League season.

According to the board, the awards ceremony will recognize players, coaches, clubs, match officials, administrators and other stakeholders who distinguished themselves throughout the campaign.

The board said the event is expected to bring together football stakeholders, government officials, corporate partners, club representatives, members of the media and football supporters for an evening celebrating excellence in Sierra Leone’s top-flight league.

It added that additional details, including the program and commencement time, will be announced through the board’s official communication channels ahead of the ceremony.

The public notice was signed by Sierra Leone Premier League Board Secretary Sampha Hassan Kamara, who said the board looks forward to welcoming invited guests to what it described as a memorable celebration of football excellence.
