The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has approved the appointment of three additional officials to the Leone Stars technical team as preparations continue for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
In a public notice released on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, the SLFA Executive Committee announced the appointments, saying the move is intended to strengthen the national senior men’s team’s technical setup ahead of the qualifying campaign.
The newly appointed officials are Alhaji Foray as Assistant Coach I, Mohamed Lamin Kamara as Assistant Coach II, and Jose Miguel Salomon Cortes as Video Analyst.
According to the association, the trio will join recently appointed Head Coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa on the technical bench as Leone Stars intensify preparations for the crucial AFCON qualifiers.
The Executive Committee said it is confident in the experience and capabilities of the new technical staff, adding that the appointments reflect the association’s commitment to building a strong and professional technical structure to guide the national team.
The SLFA also congratulated the appointees and wished them success as they begin their national assignments with the goal of helping Leone Stars secure qualification for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations.
