President Julius Maada Bio and the newly appointed Minister of Finance, Karefa Kargbo, shared some light-hearted and memorable moments during a visit to Tihun.
The President was in Tihun with the children when Karefa Kargbo joined them, creating an opportunity for the group to relax, bond and enjoy some spontaneous moments together.
Reflecting on the experience, President Bio described the occasion as one filled with fun and wonderful memories.
“These spontaneous moments are truly fun and memorable,” the President said.
Kargbo, who was recently appointed Minister of Finance pending Parliamentary approval is a Sierra Leonean politician, diplomat and accountant with decades of experience spanning government, diplomacy, the petroleum sector, finance and public sector management.
The relaxed interaction highlights a more informal side of the President and his newly appointed Finance Minister as they shared time away from the usual demands of public office.
