The National Secretariat of the All Peoples Congress (APC) has announced the opening of applications for members seeking to contest District Executive positions within the Party.

The announcement, contained in a public notice dated August 18, 2026, follows Section 16 of the APC Party Elections Rules and Regulations, duly gazetted by the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC), and the provisions of the APC Constitution 2022.

The Party said applications are now open through its online portal and manual submission process for eligible members wishing to contest the various District Executive positions.

According to the notice, candidates seeking the position of District Chairman are required to pay a candidature fee of Le2,000, in addition to a Le200 application form fee. Candidates for all other District Executive positions will pay a candidature fee of Le1,000 and Le100 for the application form.

The APC has also urged all prospective candidates to ensure that they are fully compliant with their membership subscription obligations and other eligibility requirements under the Party’s Constitution and Elections Rules and Regulations.

The Party specifically advised applicants to ensure that their membership records and subscriptions are up to date before submitting their applications.

The APC further directed that payments relating to District candidature fees should be made through the Party’s dedicated Orange Money Merchant Code, 271703.

The opening of the application process marks another stage in the APC’s preparations for the election of its District Executive leadership in accordance with the Party’s established electoral framework.
