“We Are Going to Beat You” – SLPP Politician Threatens Anyone Who Refuses to Vote For Their Party
Ibrahim Hashim A supporter of the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) was captured on camera telling Lokomasama residents that they will beat any of their members that betray them in the forthcoming election there.
Lokomasama is located in Port Loko, Northern Region, which is a known strong hold of the opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party.
The SLPP steward said to the local residents that, “This election that is coming we are not joking. Anybody that is born in Lokomasama that betray us we are going to beat you.”
The threat message was conveyed in both Krio and Themne for the local residents to fully grasp its full meaning.
