The National Secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) has announced the publication of the Provisional Voters Register for the upcoming District Elections.
In a public notice issued on 7th September 2026, the Secretariat informed party members, qualified delegates, aspirants, and other stakeholders that the register is now available for review. It has been uploaded to the party’s official website and forwarded to respective regions and districts. Physical copies will also be displayed at designated locations within each district to facilitate access and verification.
The Secretariat is urging all qualified delegates, aspirants, and interested stakeholders to carefully examine the register within the next 48 hours. Any omissions, errors, duplications, incorrect information, or other discrepancies should be reported immediately to the National Secretariat for correction.
The party emphasized that it is currently operating within a 21-day timeline set by the Court to complete pending internal elections. Approximately six to seven days of that period have already been used for planning, compiling, verifying the register, and handling administrative arrangements. As such, the Secretariat stressed that time is critical and is providing the 48-hour window to ensure legitimate corrections are received and processed in time for the final register.
The District Elections are scheduled to take place on Saturday, 19th September 2026. Delegates, aspirants, or stakeholders needing corrections may contact the National Secretariat directly or visit in person, where designated staff will assist in processing requests.
The APC leadership appealed for full cooperation and prompt action from all concerned, noting that adherence to the Court’s timeline depends on collective responsibility. Stakeholders were advised not to wait until the final hours of the verification period to raise issues.
