The Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation (MoCTI ), in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) through the Ready Salone Project, has called on Sierra Leonean startups to apply for COME UP 2026, an international startup showcase scheduled to take place in Seoul, South Korea, from 9–11 December 2026.

The Ministry said the opportunity will enable Sierra Leonean startups to showcase their businesses on an international platform, connect with investors and global corporations, explore new markets, and represent Sierra Leone on the global stage.

COME UP is one of Asia’s largest startup festivals, bringing together founders, investors, and global corporations for pitching, business matching, and networking.

According to the Ministry, eligible applicants must either be Sierra Leonean founders or startups with established operations in Sierra Leone. Their businesses must operate in digital sectors including Fintech, Telecom, Artificial Intelligence (AI), E-commerce, Climate Tech, or Agritech.

Applicants must also have a working product or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that is being used by customers and must be able to attend all three days of the event in Seoul as a founder or senior decision-maker.

The Ministry is encouraging eligible startups to take advantage of the opportunity to gain international exposure, build investor connections, access potential new markets, and showcase Sierra Leone’s growing digital and innovation ecosystem.

The application deadline is Thursday, 17 September 2026, at 5:00 PM.
