Attorney General Alpha Sesay Meets Netherlands Justice Minister Over Organised Crime
Sierra Leone’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Alpha Sesay, has met with the Netherlands’ Minister of Justice and Security, David van Weel, in New York to discuss strengthening judicial and security cooperation between the two countries.
Sesay said the meeting focused particularly on enhancing collaboration in the fight against transnational organised crime, an area that requires greater international cooperation and coordinated law-enforcement efforts.
According to the Attorney-General, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation between Sierra Leone and the Netherlands based on mutual respect, shared interests and mutual benefit.
The meeting took place in New York as both countries engage in high-level international activities, providing an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations and explore areas for closer cooperation in justice and security.
