Counting Underway After Voting Ends in Njaluahun Paramount Chieftaincy Election
Aaron Parker Counting of ballot papers is currently underway following the conclusion of voting in the Paramount Chieftaincy Election in Njaluahun Chiefdom, Kailahun District.
According to the Sierra Leone Police, voting officially ended at 2:02 p.m., after which the counting process commenced under the close presence and supervision of police personnel.
The police said the election has so far proceeded peacefully, with no security incidents or disruptions reported during the voting process.
Police personnel remain deployed at the polling and counting centre to maintain security and public order while ensuring that the counting process proceeds in a safe and orderly manner.
