Government Set to Hold Special Town Hall on 300 Days of Triple Zero Activism
According to the Ministry of Information and Civic Education, Sierra Leone is set to hold a Special Town Hall on the 300 Days of Activism for Triple Zero on Tuesday, with the health sector taking centre stage.
The town hall will focus on the progress made, challenges encountered and the next steps towards achieving the country’s Triple Zero targets: Zero Maternal Deaths, Zero Child Deaths and Zero Zero-Dose Vaccinated Children.
The engagement is expected to provide a platform for stakeholders and members of the public to discuss ongoing efforts to improve maternal and child health outcomes, strengthen vaccination coverage and address challenges affecting the achievement of the Triple Zero targets.
The Ministry is encouraging the public to actively participate in the conversation by submitting questions and concerns ahead of the town hall.
Members of the public can send their questions through bit.ly/4ealwhi or by calling 818 on all mobile networks.
The Ministry said the engagement forms part of the ongoing 300 Days of Activism for Triple Zero, as Sierra Leone intensifies efforts to improve health outcomes for mothers and children across the country.
