First Lady Fatima Bio Appreciates SLPP North America Women’s Council
First Lady of Sierra Leone, H.E. Dr. Fatima Bio, has expressed appreciation to the SLPP North America Women’s Council for what she described as its warmth, support and commitment to the advancement of women and Sierra Leone.
In a message of appreciation, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio thanked the women’s council, led by Madam Lulu Agba, for celebrating and showing her continued support.
She described the recognition as an honour, praising members of the council for their dedication, sacrifices and contributions to the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and the country despite being based abroad.
According to Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, members of the council continue to use their voices, resources, ideas and collective strength to support Sierra Leone’s development and promote the vision of “One Country, One People.”
She said the honour and confidence shown by the women’s council were deeply appreciated, adding that their sisterhood serves as a source of strength.
The First Lady also expressed her commitment to continuing to work with women to promote their meaningful participation and empowerment in Sierra Leone.
Dr. Fatima Maada Bio extended special appreciation to Madam Lulu Agba and every member of the SLPP North America Women’s Council, expressing hope that their unity and commitment would continue to contribute to positive change.
She concluded her message with the SLPP slogan, “One Country, One People.”
