Sierra Leonean Midfielder Fullah Shines With Goal, Assists in MK Dons EFL Trophy Win
Sierra Leonean midfielder Ibrahim Fullah delivered a standout attacking performance as MK Dons thrashed Brentford Under-21 7-1 in the EFL Trophy.
Fullah scored once and supplied two assists as MK Dons secured their second victory in the competition’s group stage at Stadium MK on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old added MK Dons’ fifth goal in the 52nd minute, finishing from a tight angle after the hosts had already built a four-goal advantage.
Fullah then turned provider, setting up Sam Nombe in the 72nd minute before assisting Simone Troso six minutes later to complete the home side’s seven-goal haul.
Aaron Collins led the scoring for MK Dons with a hat trick, while Charlie Goode and Nombe also found the net. Brentford’s Naeem Giscombe scored a late consolation.
The result keeps MK Dons firmly in contention for progression from their EFL Trophy group, while Fullah’s contribution gives the Sierra Leonean another notable performance to build on early in his MK Dons spell.
Fullah joined MK Dons after moving from Charlton Athletic, according to local coverage, and featured for 88 minutes against Brentford. FotMob recorded his performance at a 9.3 rating, with one goal and two assists.
