The WPC, formerly the World Petroleum Council and now rebranded as WPC Energy, is a five-day congress convened under the theme: “Pathways to an Energy Future for All.” The Congress will focus on balancing energy security, economic growth, environmental responsibility and energy equity.
The programme features 31 technical forums, ministerial roundtables and executive dialogues covering oil and gas markets, artificial intelligence, carbon management, hydrogen, critical minerals and the transition to renewable energy, which aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The Congress is expected to attract 25,000 global energy leaders, heads of state and representatives from over 70 countries, as well as more than 300 CEOs, academics and innovators.

Upon arrival, the Deputy Minister was warmly received by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Barrie, Deputy Ambassador Abdul Aziz Turay and the Head of Chancery, Alhaji Ahmed Tejan Kabba.
