Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Inspects DSTI Drone Testing

The Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) has inspected the Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI) testing and demo phases of the Medical Drone Delivery Project at Njala Mokonde.

It could be recalled that the SLCAA on 10th March 2022 granted DSTI approval to conduct tests of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS-Drone).

UAS are Air Vehicles and Associated equipment that does not carry a human operator but instead are remotely piloted or fly autonomously.
