“Samura Kamara Will Defeat President Bio” – Mohamed Bangura Reveals
Mohamed Alim Conteh The former Minister of Information and Communication during the regime of the All People’s Congress (APC) party, Honourable Mohamed Bangura has revealed that the APC flagbearer Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara will defeat the ruling President, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio in the next coming election.
He made this revelation during an interview with Amadu Lamrana Bah on the popular programme ‘Hot Seat’ on AYV Television. Hon. Mohamed Bangura declared that, Dr. Samura Kamara will defeat President Bio with the margin former President Koroma defeated him in the 2012 election and he will become the next President of the Republic of Sierra Leone. “He will defeat President Bio like how Ernest Bai Koroma defeated him in 2012”.
When cautioned by Lamrana that he is the same Samura Kamara that President Bio defeated in 2018 even when the APC was in power. The former minister responded that, President Bio defeated him by 2 points. He emphasized that, Dr. Samura Kamara will defeat President Bio the way and manner Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma defeated him even when he is the ruling President.
When asked where he got the confidence that Dr. Samura Kamara will win the next coming election. He responded that the confidence is coming from the way President Bio’s government is ruling the country. “The confidence is coming from the way the SLPP is operating. The people are not happy with the government and they will definitely vote for Samura Kamara.” He assured.
Honourable Mohamed Bangura also talked about the alleged corruption and court case of Dr. Samura Kamara, former Vice President Victor Bockarie Foh and other APC politicians.
