Western Area Rural District Council Holds Management Meeting
The Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC) has on Tuesday 28th June, 2022, held its management meeting in Waterloo, Western Area Rural District.
The meeting which was held at the office of the Chairman, was to discuss progress on the implementation of activities and to also find a way forward to addressing the challenges that come with such implementation.
In welcoming staff and sector heads, Kasho J. Holland Cole, Chairman of WARDC, thanked all for responding to the call of the Council. He said that the management meetings are key to enhancing service delivery in the district, and it’s important for the management to meet to discuss and map out ways the Council could adequately address the needs of the people.
Chief Administrator Raman Tom Farmer pointed out that the Council has a responsibility to discuss progress on the implementation of its activities and create ways to solve them for better service delivery in the district.
“The council is expecting a comprehensively written progress report for Quarter 1 & 2,” CA Raman Tom Farmer disclosed.
Sector heads and staff submitted reports- noting their successes and challenges in executing their mandates.
The Council reaffirmed its commitment to support sector heads to deliver on their mandate for the people of the Western Area Rural District.
The meeting was climaxed with symbolic handing over of a motorbike that was procured by Council own source revenue to support a Agricultural activities in the district by CA Raman Tom Farmer to the District Agriculture Officer.
