For Preparedness For 2023 Elections, ECSL Engages Southern Region Stakeholders
The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) Yesterday Monday 15th Aug, 2022 held 2nd leg of its regional stakeholders’ engagement for political parties at the OIC in Bo City.
The objective of the Southern Regional Engagement was to update Political Partie on ECSL strategic plan for 2020-2024; Elections Observation Mission (EOM) Recommendations and Electoral Legal Reforms leading to the enactment of the Public Elections ACT 2022; Electoral Timeline and preparedness for the conduct of the 2023 Presidential, Parliamentary and local government Elections: Delimitation of constituency and Ward boundaries, Voters Registration and Education strategies, stakeholders engagement and Accreditation
Similarly, the ECSL has engaged stakeholders in PortLoko and will continue to engage stakeholders in Kenema and Makeni, while the regional engagement will end on Monday 22nd August
