In a bid to combat the use of children in criminal activities in the country, the Sierra Leone Police through the Lungi Division has come up with an initiative to sensitize School pupils on violence, cliques and antisocial behavior.
On Monday the 12th September 2022, the LUC Lungi, Sahr Nyuma, together with the Information Officer Lungi and the Community Relations Officer, Insp. James E Diawo, embarked on school sensitization at Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School Masoila Lungi.
The youths in schools are the future leaders tomorrow and most times are at the front of most riotous issues that is why the team went there and sensitized them on Violence, cliques and Antisocial behavior.
Speaking on the sensitization mission, the police said the attention of the pupils were drawn to the above topics in a very conducive atmosphere during assembly together with their teachers backed up by the chairman Chiefdom Police Partnership Committee (CPPC).

It added that the engagement was fruitful as the pupils and staffs of the school appreciated their effort and encouraged them to come timely on such sensitization as it captures most issues affecting school-going pupils.
It concluded that In their response, they promised them of having such nature again subsequently.
