The Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone in collaboration with the office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Sierra Leone is conducting Regional Engagements and Consultations for the development of National Policy on Business and Human Rights for Sierra Leoneans in the Southern and Eastern province.

Similar event will be organised on the 8th-9th December in Makeni for North and Northwest and on the 13th -14th December at Waterloo for Western Urban and Rural.
The Commission is also working on developing a National Policy on Business and Human Rights in order to pave the way for the development of a National Action Plan (NAP) on same.

The Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) is the National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) of the country, established in 2004 by an Act of Parliament. The principal objective of the Commission is to protect and promote human rights throughout the country.
