First Lady Fatima Bio Visits Cottage Hospital
Modu Sesay The Julius Maada Bio (JMB) Women’s Wing and Associates (JMB), Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, and Her Excellency the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone paid a pleasant surprise visit to the Cottage Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2022. They gave Christmas gifts and encouraging messages to patients.
The First Lady’s leadership in defending women and girls against the scourges of adolescent pregnancy, early marriage, rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence is unmatched, according to a parent of a sick kid who spoke to reporters in the Children’s Ward.
“I named my daughter Fatima after you as a result of this” She explained
Inspired by the honor, the First Lady prayed for the quick recovery of her namesake and other kids.
