Eight Sierra Leonean Referees Accredited by FIFA
Eight Sierra Leonean Referees have been given badges of accreditation by the world football governing body, FIFA. The badges were presented to the Referees who met the FIFA inflexible standards.
The accreditation process is an annual process that involves reviewing the performance and capacity of referees globally and it is expected that, they could now be called upon by FIFA to officiate in FIFA accredited fixtures respectively.
The composition of the eight referees stands at, five men and 3 women, who were officially presented with their badges as FIFA certified referees for 2023.
This composition is one of the largest numbers of certified referees from Sierra Leone and many football loving fans are optimistic of a good turn in Sierra Leone Football as it is gaining international levels and living up to international best standards.
