IOM Holds Workshop on Integrated Border Management Strategy
Mohamed Aruna The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Sierra Leone has concluded a workshop on the draft integrated border management strategy and action plan for Sierra Leone ahead of the 2023 election.
The training was focused on key items ranging from, operationalizing the IBM strategy and action plan, and assessing institutional, operational, and pragmatic needs in the three IBM pillars – such as intra-agency cooperation for IBM, inter-cooperation for IBM, and international cooperation for IBM, which was made possible by the support rendered by IOM Development Fund.
IOM has poised to support women in their ‘’power to women, no matter where they are and who they chose to be’’ campaign.
According to the organization, they are committed to empowering women and girls on their road to equality.
