The Minister of Health and Sanitation Dr. Austin Demby has together with the UAE delegation visited the construction site of the 100-bed Field Hospital in Port Loko.
Dr. Demby posted on Twitter that he along with Dr. Alpha Khan. Amb. Rashid Sesay and many dignitaries welcome the UAE delegation to the construction site of the 100-bed Field Hospital in Port Loko.
According to Dr. Demby the hospital When completed will have a Conference Centre and Houses for 17 Doctors and Nurses, and apartments for 49 staff.

The ultra-modern hospital, Dr. Demby said will provide the capability to the people of Port Loko to manage all sicknesses.
The facility he explained will be fully equipped with 100 beds, 20 intensive care, a pharmacy, and a medical laboratory. The gift is UAE Aid to Sierra Leone as part of the UAE’s global response to the fight Corona disease.
