NaCOVERC Sacks Several Workers
National COVID-19 Emergency Response Center (NaCOVERC) has informed its Pillars and District employees who are contractually engaged in operations of COVID-19 response that their contracts with NACOVERC will end on 31st August, 2021.
This came after bending the curve of the third wave of COVID-19 which saw a dramatic deduction in COVID-19 cases. NaCOVERC noted that Pillar Leads, Regional Districts and District Medical Officers will upon confirmation with NACOVERC administration communicate to those staff whose contracts will be renewed.
NaCOVERC assured that all outstanding Risk Allowances are sill being considered for payment and will be paid in due course. NACOVERC expressed appreciations to all staff for their profound contributions in the fight against COVID-19 thereby containing the spread of COVID-19 and saving lives.
