Arthur E Pearce, the former chairman of the Western Area chapter of the National Grand Coalation (NGC), has announced that he will become a member of the main opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC) on May 5th, 2023.
The Arthur E Pearce Movements will also be joining him in becoming members of the APC at the party’s office on Old Railway Line Brookfields.
Pearce was a prominent figure in the NGC party before and after the 2018 elections.
Although Pearce has not publicly stated his reasons for joining the APC, many political analysts speculate that his decision may have been influenced by his opposition to the NGC’s decision to form an alliance with the ruling SLPP government.
