Sierra Leone’s Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, shared his positive experience as an honored guest during the inauguration of The Dakar Integrated Special Economic Zone in Senegal.

He expressed gratitude for President Macky Sall’s invitation and stressed the significance of African Special Economic Zones in boosting economic growth, attracting foreign investments, and fostering industrialization across the continent.

Regarding the event as the first of four vital investments, Dr. Jalloh proudly likened it to Sierra Leone’s own Special Economic Zone initiated by President Bio earlier in April. He highlighted the strategic importance of their SEZ in achieving the nation’s Big Five Game Changers, focusing on human capital development, youth employment, and enhancing technology and infrastructure for sustained economic growth.

Thankful for the honor, Dr. Jalloh eagerly anticipated the Sierra Leone Economic Forum, scheduled to be held in Dakar in January 2024. The forum aims to display investment opportunities in Sierra Leone, solidifying the potential for economic progress and collaboration between the two nations.
