Sierra Leonean Man Dies in Australia After Long Battle with Kidney Complications
With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the passing of Mr. Lamin Kamara, who died on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Westmead Hospital following a long struggle with kidney complications.
For the past three years, Lamin, had been battling kidney failure and receiving dialysis treatments. However, his condition deteriorated due to internal bleeding and ruptured arteries.
After thorough consultations with his doctors, it was determined that no further treatment could improve his health. In light of this, his family made the difficult choice to discontinue life support, allowing him to pass away peacefully. Lamin is survived by his mother, Mrs. Fatmata Sesay, along with his brothers, Daniel and Alusine Kamara.
