How to Check 2024 BECE Result in Sierra Leone
Bernice Bangura Sierra Leone’s Education Minister, Conrad Sackey has announced the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results today Monday, November 18, 2024.
The BECE, overseen by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), is taken by third-year Junior High School students . This examination serves dual purposes: determining eligibility for senior secondary education and certifying junior secondary education completion.
Earlier in July, a total of 126,496 of you – 61,380 males and 65,116 females, from 1,833 schools sat for the 2024 BECE in Sierra Leone.
While there might be a slight delay at the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) in dispatching the results to individual schools, candidates can promptly access their scores online or via the MBSSE SMS result checker.
How to Check 2024 BECE Results Online
Meanwhile, below is an easy step-by-step guide on how candidates can check for their 2023WASSCE results:
- ▪️First, Login to WAEC Result Checker Website – https://www.waecsierra-leone.org/ResultChecker/
- ▪️Secondly, enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit center number followed by your 3-digit candidate number, e.g. 4123456789).
- ▪️Thirdly, enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year, e.g. 2024.
- ▪️Fourthly, select the Type of Examination, e.g., May/June.
- ▪️Fifthly, enter the Scratch Card (E-pin) Number.
- ▪️Lastly, click Submit and wait for the results window to open.
NOTE: Always input an email address so that the result will be forwarded to that email for printing.
How to Check 2024 BECE Results Via SMS
- ▪️To check your result via SMS, text RESULT to 468.
- ▪️Select option 2 for BECE.
- ▪️Enter your Candidate number and submit.
- ▪️Wait for your BECE result.
This service is available on Orange and Africell networks.

Please check your copy and paste post! instead of BECE you wrote WASSCE and also instead of 10 digits of waec examination number it should be 8. Please next time verify your messages before you post or else you will forfeit the interest of the people. You made us to buy cards while results are not available in the net. Next time please mind your post or confirm your post.
