Sierra Leone Law School Shortlists 397 Candidates for 2026 Entrance Examination
The Sierra Leone Law School has shortlisted a total of 397 applicants to sit its 2026 entrance examination, with the examination scheduled for Friday, 31 July 2026, at the Special Court Complex in New England Ville, Freetown.
According to an official notice issued by the Council of Legal Education, Sierra Leone Law School, the shortlisted applicants comprise 243 candidates from Fourah Bay College (FBC), 39 candidates from Njala University, and 115 candidates from the University of Makeni (UNIMAK).
The notice, dated 21 July 2026 and signed by the Registrar, Daniel J. Lavally Esq., states that the examination will commence promptly at 9:00 a.m. Candidates have been instructed to arrive at the venue on time, warning that late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.
The Law School further directed all shortlisted applicants to complete payment of the required examination fee of Le2,500 no later than 28 July 2026. Payments are to be made into the designated Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SL) Limited account provided by the institution.
Following payment, applicants are required to present their bank deposit slips to the Law School’s Finance Office for processing and the issuance of official examination and seat numbers. The institution emphasized that only candidates with valid examination numbers will be allowed to sit the entrance examination.
The announcement forms part of the Law School’s admission process for prospective students seeking entry into its professional legal education programme for the 2026 academic year.
