Sierra Leone Students Loan Scheme Secretariat Calls For Application From Masters And PHD Students
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Sierra Leone Students’ Loan Scheme Secretariat (SLOAN-SL) has informed the general public that, it has received funds from the Government of Sierra Leone to provide loans for students in tertiary institutions in Sierra Leone.
The secretariat is inviting applications for educational loans to less privileged Sierra Leoneans pursuing courses in institutions accredited by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).
Application processing fees of NLE 500 (Five Hundred New Leones) for Masters and NLE 750 (Seven Hundred and Fifty New Leones) for PhD must be paid to access the online application PINs.
Prospective students are advised to make payments at any Sierra Leone Commercial Bank with Account Number 003001121462112140 from the 15th of March 2024 to the 15th of April 2024.
Meanwhile, the said advertisement is meant only for students in the Masters and Ph.D. categories. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

This whole thing shouldn’t be called student loan but rather Masters and PHD’s students loan. Or is it that those in Masters and PHD levels are people we should only refer to as students?
