As humanity works overtime to scrub off the scent of pandemic era which rampaged the entertainment industry and threatened a devastating resurgence, we’ve all witnessed a boom in outdoor activities globally and in Sierra Leone.

Entertainers and musicians are not left out of this and have doubled down to create soundtracks to support the wave and thanks to this, we’ve had a sonically hotter year, with the airwaves taken captive by banger tracks after banger tracks.

Last year 2021, Sierraloaded started the Hottest Artiste List, an undiluted run down of the Artistes that shaped, defined and led music among Sierra Leonean consumers throughout the year.

This list underscores the entertainers who scored the biggest hits, tours, mega moves on the local and international scene, the award winners, and in general, the people we’ve listened and danced to for the past 12 months

Be sure you are following Sierraloaded on all social media platforms so as not to miss out on this list.

K-Man – #19

They say absence makes fonder and K-Man proved this when he took almost a year musical break, only to hush the groaning of fans with one of the hottest songs of the year; ‘Jealous’.

Allow us to reintroduce Mohamed Saccoh James Sesay, stage named ‘K-Man’, and unarguably one of Sierra Leone’s finest and most famous musicians.

K-Man falls among the foremost RnB singers in Sierra Leone and he is widely known for his soft rap tone that attracts a large number of female fans as a result of his passion for composing songs about women. The Bingo man as he is also known sings mainly in English and the Krio language as well as occasionally in the Madinka language.

For years, K-Man has been inconsistent in his musical trade, but at any time he chooses to bless his fans with any offering, the ‘instant hit’ effect follows through.

This, He has demonstrated in recent releases of “Why?” and “Jealous”, not forgetting his vocal appearance on Camouflage’s Asobi song.

His passion for music formed the single most important driving force coupled with the pleasure he attached to the flavours of songs like R&B, bits of Hip-Hop and raga including freestyles.

K-Man might not have given us an album or international collaboration this year, but his efforts on ‘Jealous’ and ‘Ashobi’ comfortably sits him on the 19th spot of the Hottest Artiste in Sierra Leone 2022. Perhaps, Bingo Man can earn him an higher spot in 2023 if he doesn’t leave his fans thirsty of bigger hits.
