One of Sierra Leone’s finest rappers and former President of Sierra Leone All Stars Union, Base Aphonyx has cautioned Sierra Leoneans over the snippet of the soon to be released song of popular Tiktoker, Peter Komba.

Reacting to the song on social media, the rapper praised Peter Komba and the song, which is titled, “Scatter”.

He advised that Sierra Leoneans should learn to uplift each other, adding that 70% of the foreign songs they are listening to have no lyrical structure, but they vibe to them.

He further made an example of one of Nigeria’s biggest artists, Davido, stating that he was also faced with a lot of criticism when he started his musical career. He said people were critical of his voice, looks, and height, but noted that he is one of the biggest artists in the world today.

Base Aphonyx then called on Sierra Leoneans to stop criticizing Peter Komba, noting that the young man did his best.

See post below:

PETER KOMBA IS A VERY FINE ACT, PERSONALLY I LIKE THE SONG 🎵 IT IS EASTEND CATCHY. I THINK SIERRA LEONEANS SHOULD LEARN TO UPLIFT EACH OTHER. 70% OF THE FOREIGN SONGS I HEAR EVERYWHERE HAS NO LYRICAL STRUCTURE BUT YA’LL VIBE TO THEM ANYWAY. ALOT WAS SAID ABOUT DAVIDO WHEN HE STARTED SOME PEOPLE DONT LIKE HIS VOICE, SOME DONT LIKE HIS FACE, HE IS TOO SHORT, BUT HE IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST ACTS IN THE WORLD PRESENTLY.
