Abdul Razak Kanu, popularly known on stage as Arkman is spotted donating food items to the less privilege in Freetown.

This is the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Month that the Almighty Allay said in his Holy book, the Quran, that whosoever that does good in this Holy month of Ramadan, his/her deeds would be multiplied beyond imagination. It is on this blessed month the singer is spotted sharing food items to disables in Freetown.

The artist encouraged all Sierra Leoneans and the world at large to reach out to somebody, it doesn’t matter if you are able to reach one as it makes a difference in society. According to the afrobeat singer, nothing is too small to show kindness and generosity to fellow brothers and sisters.

On his Facebook page the singer wrote:

“I encourage you to reach out to people, even if it’s one person. Nothing is too small. May Allah accept our prayers and continue to bless us all.”

Abdul Razak Kanu popularly known as Arkman, is a Sierra Leonean by nationality, born on the 22 January. He attended the Saint Edwards Primary and Secondary school respectively and then furthered his tertiary education at the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology (M.M.C.E.T).

He started music locally at community level and later join the Artist United for Children and Youth Development (AUCAYD), a non-profitable community-based organization (CBO) sponsored by War Child Canada project.

In 2012, he collaborated with other local talents, and formed a group called the League of Xtraordinary Guys (LXG) and with their collective efforts they produced an Album titled “SALONE SCATTA”. This album was appreciated by the Sierra Leone community locally and internationally and they won series of awards as a united front.

His burning desire is to wake up one sunny day and see teenage pregnancy and youth violence drastically reduced that is why he is serving as volunteer and role model to support his development partners such as the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, local and international non-governmental organization worldwide to campaign against teenage pregnancy and youth violence through music.
