Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has celebrated sensational singer, Jooel after he received a spotlight from BBC.
The president took to his Twitter account to congratulate the singer and thanked him for representing young people and showcasing his talent.
President Bio further assured of his government’s support to the entrainment industry to help unlock the country’s abundant creative potential.
“Thank you, @iam_jooel, for representing the best of our young people and showcasing the talent, creativity, and ingenuity that defines the millennials in #SierraLeone. My Government will continue to support the Entertainment Industry to unlock the abundant creative potential,” he twitted.
Jooel was recently featured on BBC News Africa with the caption “Meet @iam_jooel, an afro rap artist from Sierra Leone who is making waves in his country by fusing comedy and fun with his music”.
