On a recent video released by the popular rapper and CEO of the Red Flag Movement (RFM),  the rapper, Boss LA, expressed his disappointment over the prolongment of road constructions and other major issues affecting Sierra Leoneans.

On the video, Boss LA stated that, the Bio government has taken more time than the people expected to complete the Model – Black Hall new Road Construction. The  Eastern part of  Freetown is known for it inaccessibility of certain areas as a result of heavy traffic throughout the day.

When this Model – Black Hall Road New Road Construction was initiative and brought to life, citizens were very happy as they know it is a break through for Easterners and Westerners plying that route. Initially at Eastern, there used to be one-lane drive at Mountain Cut but due to the delay of the road construction, it is now known for two-way drive and the road is very small for that purpose.

Boss LA claimed that there are people working on the road construction everyday but yet they have taken over four years to construct a road that is less than 3.21869 Kilometres (less than 2 miles).

According to Boss La, he thinks the construction workers are not working on the road construction but instead mining, and further asked, what are they really mining.

In his concluding statements, he recalled when fuel crisis started in Sierra Leone. According to him, when the price of fuel gone to Le12,000, there were rejections and grumblings around but yet people succumb to that because they had no choice, same again when it rose to Le15,000 per litre. Now despite the citizens accepting all this, they still face crisis of fuel. Restaurants and Hotels had to pay double way transport to look for diesel at the edge of Freetown from where they are. Bike riders had to increase twice others thrice the normal price.

“Where are we going….?” Boss LA asked.
