Sierra Leone most decorated rapper, Alhaji Amadu Bah popularly known as Boss La has been granted Le 50 million bail by Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Magistrate Court No 1.

The rapper is standing trial on three counts of alleged assault on a Police officer at CID, disorderly behavior, and riotous conduct. The matter is adjourned to Friday 27th August.

Boss La was re-arrested on 11th August, 2021 with allegations of assaulting a police officer at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) during his detention. The rapper was immediately taken to Pademba Road Prison.

According to the particulars of offence, accused LAJ on Saturday 17th July 2021, at the Criminal Investigations Department Headquarters assaulted Joseph Lamboi while executing his lawful duty. He made his first appearance on 12th August, 2021 and he was denied bail. The rapper was granted a bail of Le 50 million by Magistrate Sahr Kekura.
