Popular Sierra Leonean rapper, Alhaji Amadu Bah also known as Boss La is eligible for 15 years jail term if found guilty of robbery and assault.

Boss La was arrested and detained for the alleged robbery and assault of a Sierra Leonean businessman, Osman Jalloh at the Swiss Hotel on 17th July 2021.

According to the victim, Osman Jalloh, he went to see his business partners at the Swiss Spirit Hotel at Spur Road when Boss La and his friend, Junior surrounded him with an object at the car park.

He was attacked, his Range Rover Sport’s front and back mirrors were vandalized and his bag that contains valuable items and documents was taken away.

Jalloh described the incident as a complete robbery, as he had no prior dealings with the rapper and his cohorts.

He added that he will not allow the rapper to get away with it and the law should take it course.

He further went on to described him as a threat to the society.

Boss La is presently detained at Lumley Police Station in Freetown as investigations are being carried out.

According to Section 23 of the Larceny Act 1961, provides maximum penalties for a number offences of robbery and aggravation which stipulates 15 years jail term.
