Drizilik Hits Over One Million Listeners on Audiomack
Sierra Leonean Rapper, Benjamin Menelik George aka Drizilik has become the first Sierra Leonean musician to reach one million listeners on Audiomack.
Between 2012 and 2015, Drizilik dropped four mixtapes, 2 Fingers UP 1&2, Since 1994 & Best Flow Possible. But it was the one-off single, “Pop Collar”, that propelled him into the spotlight. In 2016, Drizilik delivered the anticipated mixtape, Ben 10 over 10, and gave it away for free. The critically acclaimed Mixtape earned him several awards including Best New Artist at the Inaugural National Entertainment Awards and The Next-e Young Entertainer Award.
The “Pop Collar” single was released under Grand Mark Records and the official music video was shot and directed by a Sierra Leonean UK base Director, Nick Asgil. Since Drizilik got the minds of Sierra Leoneans, he has never turn back. He has been dropping hit after hit.
In 2019, Drizilik became the first musician to go home with four awards at the National Entertainment Awards. He was awarded for best Male Hip Hop Artiste, Best Album, Best Live Performer and Best Male Artiste. In 2020, he also won Best Live Performer. In 2021, he was nominated on Listener’s Choice category along with Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Rayvanny, etc. at the MAMA MTV Awards.
Drizilik was verified on Audiomack in 2020. With his 9.93K Followers, 12.6 Monthly Listeners and 1.03M Total plays, the rapper is planning to drop another single for his followers to keep the Platform busy.

Some of his highly played songs are: Shukubly with 556K plays, Tell with 142K plays, Waste Time with 123K plays, etc. His latest single for the 60th Sierra Leone Independence celebration has already got 18.6K play.
In 2021, his hit single “Tell” was featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra Africa 360 playlist with Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, etc. Drizilik was also given the opportunity by BBC Radio 1Xtra Africa 360 to create a playlist. He made a playlist of 19 tracks including musicians like Kaley Bag, Rozzy, YOK 7, Shadow Boxxer, Yung Sal, Colabo, Star Zee, Jooel, etc.
