Sierra Leonean music sensation Famous has finally broken his silence regarding the swirling rumors of him vying for an ambassadorial position.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Epic Radio, the acclaimed artist made it clear that he has no interest in such a role, emphasizing his dedication to his music career.

Famous, who has been actively involved in the music industry since 2002, stated that his workload from shows and tours keeps him fully occupied. Dismissing the rumors outright, he said, “The rumor that is spreading around that I want to be an ambassador is false. My music career is a full-time job, and being an ambassador does not fit into my life. My life is perfectly fine the way it is.”

The award-winning artist further expressed that the entire speculation appears to be a deliberate attempt to stir controversy, particularly involving fellow musician and current Entertainment Ambassador, Kao Denero. “This is all drama that people created just to see how Kao Denero will react. They are just using me for that drama,” Famous remarked.

Despite the rumors, Famous acknowledged Kao Denero’s efforts in his ambassadorial role, stating that he believes the rapper is the right person for the position. “Kao Denero is doing well as an ambassador, and I have no disrespect for the government. Even if they call on me today to appoint me, I will refuse because I have a lot on my plate,” he explained.

Famous also stressed that taking up an ambassadorship could slow down a musician’s career, a sacrifice he is not willing to make. He dismissed any claims of rivalry with Kao Denero, reaffirming their mutual respect. “We are musicians, and he is my Sierra Leonean brother,” Famous concluded.

With this statement, Famous has set the record straight, reaffirming his commitment to his music while shutting down the unfounded rumors regarding his alleged interest in an ambassadorial role.
