First Runner-up of Little Miss Africa, Treasure L. Kallon Receives Prestigious Award at Tourism Ministry Headquarter

The co. founder of Trivia Event, Fatmata Sylvia Kamara has presented the 1st Runner-up of little Miss. Africa, Treasure L. Kallon to the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Memunatu Pratt at the Ministry’s Head Office, Kingharman Road, Freetown.

Trivia Event is a registered organization in Sierra Leone that have the franchise for little Mr. and Miss. Africa. On the 8th April, 2022, Treasure L. Kallon and Rejoice Kamara left Sierra Leone to participate in the little Mr. and Miss. Africa competition in Kampala, Uganda. The two kids from Sierra Leone did their country proud with Treasure L. Kallon grabbing the 1st Runner-up position in the little Miss Africa.

Presenting the first runner-up of the little Miss. Africa to the Tourism Minister, the co-founder of Trivia Event, Fatmata Slyvia Kamara expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s willingness in supporting their course. She made a case for a collaboration with the Ministry in impacting the lives of these kids, hence the little Mr. and Miss. Africa competition has to do with cultural diversity, she said.

The Tourism Minister, Dr. Memunatu Pratt congratulated little Miss. Africa, Treasure L. Kallon for her outstanding performance. She said it is a good try to bring up kids at that level because it create an opportunity to enhance their growth, which she said the Ministry is willing to support. She encouraged them to ensure that the kids must have time for their education and that they should always treat the kids as kids.
