The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ACTORS GUILD SIERRA LEONE (AGSL) has appointed a top Sierra Leonean actor Abdulai Saidu Kamara, popularly known as Glamour Raider, to act as its interim President untill the next AGSL Elections.

The AGSL President position has been vacant since the death of its erstwhile President Martha Millicent Macauley on the 22nd February 2022.

Actors Guild Sierra Leone is a non denominational organization designed with principles to operate in all geographical localities and to seek the welfare of all actors in Sierra Leone and Sierra Leonean Actors Abroad.

The Actors Guild was established on 12th September 2013. In recognizing the full benefit of working together as one family and desirous to promote, improve and develop the life of ACTORS in Sierra Leone.

The Guild exists to enhance actors’ working conditions, compensation and benefits and to be a powerful, unified voice on behalf of artists’ rights. The Guild is form to serve as a foundation in addressing the many unemployment rates in our country. And shall therefore encourage and protect all the rights and welfare of her members.

The have a mission is to serve as a vehicle for social, cultural, economic development and as a powerful communications instrument for national and international integration. And their vision is to strive to empower actors to work together and establish equitable levels of compensation, benefits and working conditions for all actors.
