Among musicians in the Sierra Leone entertainment industry, Alhaji Amadou Bah popularly known as Boss LA is known for his breakthrough song Money Na Bank amongst other songs. This breakthrough song won him a place in the entertainment industry way back in 2009.

Despite his breakthrough song Money Na Bank, his first album Tok of Salone (TOS) introduced to fans who had been waiting to enjoy hip-hop in the country. Ever since this breakthrough, Boss LA has always been his fans the best he could offer. He has been releasing hit songs for his fans and also giving his competitors a very solid competition.

In just few years, Boss LA’s fan base increased from the day he founded his own label as Red Flag Movement (RFM) and this has seen him performed in countries like Sweden, UK, Netherlands, US, Africa etc.

In January 10 2020, Boss LA launched his album featuring top SL acts and he was praised for his promotion techniques. 2020 King boss LA is still releasing hit after hit songs.

However, Boss LA has also over those years engaged himself into many crime scenes. Here is the full list of Boss LA’s crimes over the years.

2012

Three years after the launched of RFM in Sierra Leone, Boss LA has his first crime scene that resulted to three deaths. According to sources, The rapper had an issue with a music promoter popularly called ‘Big Fish’. On their dispute, it ended with gun shots and a fatal accident leaving three people dead at Lumley Beach. He was taken to the CID for investigation and later released. After he was released, he dropped a song title ‘I am not guilty ‘ which on the song he explained what conspired and the caused of the accident.

2014

Two years after the Boss LA and Big Fish saga, the rapper was also arrested in 2014 in the United States of America and accused of conniving with family members and other persons unknown to tamper with bank accounts and transactions; rent and later ship vehicles to Sierra Leone and Guinea.

He is also being investigated for using improper documentations to enter and reside in the United States of America (USA).

2015

In 2015 Boss L.A and his brother ishmail Bah AKA Rapish Bah, were traised by the FBI and interpol for stealing vehicles, at the end of the searched it was discovered that indeed those vehicles were stolen and shipped 🚢 in to Sierra Leone by ishmail Bah the elder brother of L.A.J , the information was giving to the Sierra Leone police through interpol, a searched was done and seven vehicles were retrieved by the police, all the vehicles were brought at the CID .

2018

In 2018 Boss L.A. was arrested in Kent by the police and after a searched he was caught with over 25 pack of marijuana and kush in his Vehicle.

2019

L.A.J was interrogated at Aberdeen Beach for driving unlicensed vehicle .

2021

Popular rapper, Boss LA is in police net for an alleged physical attack and robbery on one British Sierra Leonean businessman name Osman Jalloh, commonly known as OJ. This alleged act of aggression was reportedly perpetrated by Laj’s friend – Edward Sahr James, commonly known as Junior, who according to sources was the first to attack OJ at the Swiss Hotel at Spur Road on Friday night (15th July 2021) before he was joined by Laj and 3 other guys.

Boss LA was allegedly arrested for charges of robbery with friends in a broad daylight at Leonco filling station. He is presently at the Pademba correctional facility waiting for trial.
