One of Sierra Leone baddest female rapper, Natasha Beckley aka Swadu has today celebrates a year of successful album launching titled ‘Freetown The Recipe’.

In her previous life before answering to the call to music, Natasha Beckley was a model and had bagged awards for her marvelous performance during her pageant shows.Β  In 2010, the celebrity won Miss Africa USA finalist and also bagged Miss Sierra Leone 2011.

On answering to her call to music, the celebrity was at first consider a joker when she first released her mixtape titled ‘Beauty and The Beast ‘. With determination and struggles over the years, Natasha Beckley has now become one of Sierra Leone most beloved rapper in the entertainment industry.

Freetown The Recipe is an album that of Natasha that featured artists around Africa, the like of Timaya, Ice Prince, Buckwylla, Sheik Kargbo, Magnito and Juwhiz. Among tracks in the album was baddest in town, a personal heartfelt disclosure of Swadu rap skills combined with a sweet melody.

After the album was released, Natasha Beckley has been touring around the world performing on shows. Over these past months, the celebrity disclosed that she has learned and improved so much on her writing skills. She further promised and affirmed that, she would drop an album every year.

With a complete year of hard and better returns, Natasha Beckley wrote on her official Facebook handle:

My album Freetown the Recipe turns 1 today. Happy birthday 🎀🎀🎀🎀 Thank you for 12 months of opportunities, connections and growth. I feel good and I am ready to start putting out new music / singles. This project was so special to me, i dedicated 2021-22 to promoting each track. Now I feel comfortable to let the album grow as I work on a new project. I have learned so much , my writing ability has improved. I promised myself to drop an album every year once I get started and proud to say that I’m 50% ready for album number 2.
