Morris Amara Sellu on the 21st July 2022 testified in the alleged ongoing preliminary Investigation into the alleged robbery with violence incident at LEOCON filling station involving Alhaji Amadu Bah(LAJ)

Lawyer Yusif Issac Sesay led the fourth prosecution witness (Pw4) inspector  attached Morris Amara Sellu attached to the criminal Investigation department CID Congo Cross division said to know the complainants Francess Wilson, Ishmail Kamara, Christiana Koroma and Musa Mansaray, and the accused Person Alhaji Bah alias LAJ.

PW4 added that in respect of this matter on the 12th June within 15;00 to 16:hours whilst he was on duty at the said police station the matter was allocated to him by desk NCO sub inspector Kindo Kamara for Investigation upon receipt of the said information sub inspector Kindo Kamara DPC 19841 Mattia MS obtained a statement from all the said complainants herein in his presence.

He said sub inspector Kindo Kamara issued a Police medical request form to the said Complainants, and on the 13th June , 2022 Complainants returns with their endorsed medical form in the custody of the police.

The witness said all medical request form was endorsed at Lumley Health Center and Connaught Hospital the said medical was produced and tendered in Court

At this stage counsel representing the accused person objected that the police medical request form of Christiana Koroma should not be tendered in court because she didn’t testify in court and that the medical report should not be tendered in court because she has never testified in Court for the court to hear her version.

He added that he is aware that what the court is conducting at this stage is a preliminary Investigation and told the bench that he has to take into recognizance the testimony of witness, and cross examination and will not allow anyone else to tendered exhibit without cross examination, and demand that the witness must be in court to tender the report.

Responding to defence counsel the state counsel Yusif Issac Sesay Esq reiterated that the witness said the endorsed medical form has been in custody, and further that identification of the medical request
form was not a condition presently because the prosecutor can start with the investigator to been in his custody, and further that identification of the medical request form was not a condition

However, the accused Alhaji Amadu Bah who made his eight appearance before magistrate Kekura of Pademba Road court No1 was arraigned on four counts of charges of robbery and with violence and assault.

According to the police, the accused Alhaji Amadu Bah on Sunday 12th Jun 2022 at LEOCON filling station with the intent to rob , stole the sum of 4,200,000 assaulted a pump attendant

Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center Freetown, and adjourned the matter to the 27th of July for ruling
