Sierra Leone’s Rejoice Terefa Kamara Wins Little Miss Africa 2022 in Uganda
Sierra Leonean musician, actress and model, Rejoice Terefa Kamara popularly known as Terry Kay has emerged as the winner for Little Mister and Miss Africa (LMMA) pageant in Kampala, Uganda.
Her fellow Sierra Leonean contestant, Treasure Lucy Kalloa who is also a musician and model emerged as the 1st Runner up as the Top Model.

They contested with Ndaloenhle Lethabo Sibanyoni from South Africa, Abiol Joseph Malek Arop from South Sudan, Valeria Adoyo from Kenya, Basimallah Janat Matovu from Uganda and others.

LMMA is a continental pageant for both Boys and Girls between the age of 4 to 16 years. It’s aimed at providing a positive space for young Africans to celebrate the Rich, diverse and dynamic African culture and heritages. It also empowers young children to realize their potential through a competitive, collaborative effort, building confidence through professional opportunity and cultural diversity. It’s an annual pageant that seeks to give a human face to the continent.
The 2nd edition of the pageant was hosted in Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala, Uganda on 15th April, 2022. Meanwhile, the two representatives from Sierra Leone; Rejoice Terefa Kamara and Treasure Lucy Kalloa emerged as winner and 1st Runner up as the Top Model respectively.
